The Jan. 26 and 27 Collectors Universe Good Rockin’ Tonight (GRT) auction has some of his personal effects available. This includes a pair of sweatpants, a red and gold wristwatch that the King kept in his bathroom at Graceland and two eighteen-inch wide brass eagles Elvis had hanging in his Graceland office. There is also a musical figurine given to Elvis and Priscilla to celebrate the birth of Lisa Marie and the second professional contract he ever signed. Dated Nov. 12, 1955, Presley signed this contract to extend his commitment to the Louisiana Hayride radio program for another year. The signatures of Presley’s mother and father are also on the contract as witnesses.
